Norway is a country where you can fish almost all year round. Each month is different and has its own specificity.
SPRING-SUMMER SEASON (May, June, July, August) is a perfect time for both fishing and relaxation.
During this period, surface baits are a good choice because pike often stay in rushes and shallow bays. The first half of May may still be cold. At the beginning of June, beautiful weather begins and the water temperature increases. There are plenty of beaches and swimming areas in the area around the lakes, which encourage you to relax after a day of fishing, and these are just some of the many local attractions.
AUTUMN SEASON (September and October) Autumn landscapes in Norway are exceptionally beautiful. This is the time of fishing trips, during which you can catch big pike and perch, as the fish become active before the long winter. Apart from summer, this is my favorite fishing season. Imagine that you are alone by a lake in a secluded place early in the morning. Nothing can disturb your peace. Magical moments are at your fingertips.
WINTER SEASON (January, February, March) is the time when lakes freeze over, and the ice thickness usually reaches 40 cm. In winter you can fish for perch and pike. The offer includes basic ice fishing equipment. Beautiful winter, frozen lakes and the beauty of the landscape are a huge attraction in themselves. Such winters are becoming rare in Poland. You can successfully ice fish here until mid-April.
